MUITAVENTURA’S HISTORY

Pedro Almeida – with a degree in Physical Education in 1992, developed his works between the School and Fitness, namely Aerobics, Step, Localized and Hip Hop.

It was in his experience as an Instructor in the Solinca Health clubs (Colombo and Vasco da Gama Shopping Centers), where he was an Instructor and Coordinator -- passing lots of hours in closed spaces – and as a teacher in Professional Courses in Sintra, with students that need to be constantly motivated and encouraged… Here, the urge to do Outdoor and Nature exploration activities rose. Canoeing, Climbing, rappel, Paintball, Kart and Orienteering were among them.

This way, Muitaventura was born. Out of the desire to integrate and promote the participation of groups to practice physical exercise, in the nature, with all the great advantages it brings, at a social level, motor skills and health promoting, fighting the sedentary lifestyle illnesses, mainly in the big cities: stress, pollution, civilization illnesses,..

The team dynamics, adrenaline, exercise, social gathering, animation, integration, learning, safety, experience sharing, gastronomy, are the main key words in the events we organize.

Muitaventura's logo had it origin in the extinct company "Tudo em Cima, Eventos Desportivos, Lda", of which Pedro Almeida was a manager associate. This Sports Animation Company organized, among other activities:

- Aerobics Meeting in the Maçãs Beach;
- National Gymnastic Aerobics Championship in 1997
- Beach Handboll Championship Final in 1996;
- Several stages of the National Beach Volleyball Championship;
- Regional Beach Volleyball Championship.

In FITNESS:
Instructor /Trainer in several Master Classes and courses in Portugal , and a Trainer in a convention in Austria.
He worked as a trainer in several Conventions and courses in Portugal, in the USA (Las Vegas and LA, twice) and in Madrid.
Solinca Health Club Instructor (C.Colombo and Vasco da Gama, Craque and Super-craque Gymns)
Trainer in the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation, in the Technical Course of Sport in Casa Pia de Lisboa
